On Saturday, April 25th, police in Marrakech arrested a repeat offender suspected of causing property damage and possessing a prohibited weapon in a manner that threatened public safety.
The suspect allegedly damaged several parked cars in the Sidi Youssef Ben Ali district of Marrakech on Friday, April 24th, using a large white weapon. These criminal acts were captured in a video that circulated on social media.
Following an investigation, police identified and apprehended the suspect during an operation in the same area on Saturday afternoon.
The suspect is currently under investigation, supervised by the competent public prosecutor, to determine the circumstances and motives behind these actions, and to identify all the crimes attributed to him.
