Fez: The Institute for Training in Transportation and Logistics Professions (IFTL) has announced the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with Professor Rachid Yazami, a world-renowned researcher, for the launch of the Higher Professional Certificate in Electric Vehicle Battery Maintenance (CPS MBVE).
According to a statement from IFTL, this professional bachelor’s level training program is designed to anticipate market needs and support the growth of electric mobility in Morocco.
Through this collaboration, Professor Yazami is partnering with IFTL to contribute to the emergence of a new generation of specialized technicians capable of addressing the challenges of transport electrification, energy transition, and industrial skills development, the same source added.
The statement clarified that the training is aimed at specialized technicians holding a Bac+2 (two years of post-secondary education) in technical disciplines such as electricity, electronics, industrial maintenance, or chemistry, noting that the first cohort is scheduled to start in October 2025.
This program, aligned with the developments in the transport and logistics sector, trains experts in the maintenance, diagnostics, safety, and performance of electric batteries.
The training, delivered in French and English, includes linguistic reinforcement in both languages to ensure the adaptability of graduates to international professional contexts.
It is based on an active pedagogy combining internships, case studies, and interventions by renowned academic and industrial experts.
