On Wednesday, April 2, 2025, the Royal Gendarmerie Company in Safi carried out a significant operation resulting in the seizure of a large truck loaded with 16.5 tons of hashish. The operation took place on the road connecting the areas of Sebt Gzoula and Ithnain Lghiyat.
According to available information, the seized truck was transported to the Customs Administration headquarters, where it was unloaded under strict security measures. During the operation, the Royal Gendarmerie forces arrested the truck driver, a young man who is only 19 years old.
