In a Strongly Worded Statement: The Moroccan Democratic Human Rights Organization Calls for Genuine Intervention in a Case of Sexual Exploitation of Minors in “Kiko” Village

The Moroccan Democratic Human Rights Organization has issued a strongly worded statement condemning the sexual exploitation of a minor in the Boulemane province, which resulted in the victim’s pregnancy. The organization urged the Public Prosecutor’s Office to take immediate action and demanded the release of an official statement to clarify the details of the case to public opinion.

In its statement, the organization expressed its strong condemnation of this crime, considering it a blatant violation of children’s rights. It called for psychological and social support for the victim and her rehabilitation to help her overcome the crisis. Additionally, it demanded the prosecution of all those involved without leniency and the tightening of penalties to prevent such crimes from recurring.

The statement highlighted the increasing incidents of sexual assaults against children and warned of the lack of effective protection mechanisms, especially in rural areas. The organization emphasized the need to enhance supervision in educational spaces and protect students from exploitation. It also called on the government to take strict measures against those involved in such cases and to ensure that impunity is not tolerated.

Furthermore, the Moroccan Democratic Human Rights Organization affirmed that it is closely following the case and will continue to exert pressure to ensure justice is served and to protect children from all forms of violence and exploitation.
