As part of the International Women’s Day celebrations, the administration of Ras El Ma Local Prison in Fez organized a special ceremony on Friday, March 7, 2025, to honor its female employees. The event was marked by a spirit of pride and belonging to the General Delegation for Prison Administration and Reintegration.
According to information obtained by Fes News, the ceremony began with a speech from the prison director, who praised the dedication and professionalism of the female staff in carrying out their duties with responsibility. He emphasized their vital role within the prison system and in society as a whole, highlighting the significant contributions of women in shaping future generations.
The event also featured an emotional speech from one of the female employees, who spoke about the importance of women in various fields and their active role alongside men in achieving progress and development.
On this occasion, the Social Solidarity Association extended its best wishes to all female employees in the sector, wishing them success in both their professional and personal lives. The association also stressed the need to strengthen the role of women and enhance their empowerment within and beyond correctional institutions.
