In preparation for the holy month of Ramadan 1446 AH / 2025, the Taza Municipality announced on Friday, February 28, adjustments to the usage schedule for local sports fields to accommodate young athletes who prefer to train and play at night after Iftar.
According to the official municipal statement, the regular programming for field usage will remain unchanged, except for the period between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, during which all sports activities will be paused throughout Ramadan.
To provide suitable spaces for sports during the month, the municipality has decided to exceptionally open local fields from 10:00 PM to midnight for licensed associations wishing to organize Ramadan tournaments in partnership with administrative authorities and neighborhood teams.
For youth tournaments (under 17 years old), the fields will be available exclusively on Sunday mornings, ensuring proper organization while prohibiting nighttime activities for this age group to prioritize their well-being and safety.
These measures aim to facilitate fair access to sports facilities while respecting the special atmosphere of Ramadan and promoting organized sports activities within the city.
