Parliamentarian Idriss Chebchali sent a written question to the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forestry, inquiring about the progress of the project to build modern slaughterhouses in a number of communities belonging to the Sefrou region.
Chebchali pointed out the urgent need to accelerate the completion of these slaughterhouses in the communities of Sefrou, Ain Chekak, Imouzar Kandar and Menzel, given their importance in enhancing the health safety of meat, improving slaughtering conditions, and ensuring respect for approved veterinary and health standards.
The parliamentarian stressed that the absence of modern infrastructure in this field poses great challenges for professionals and consumers alike, which calls for an urgent intervention by the Ministry to expedite the implementation of these projects and provide the necessary funding to ensure their readiness as soon as possible.
