El Hassan Shehabi emphasized the need for stronger political will and greater government support to drive development in the region. He stated: “Despite the efforts of His Majesty King Mohammed VI in supporting the Moroccan people, there is a need for a stronger commitment from various administrations and institutions to open their doors to investors and provide them with the necessary facilities. Development must be inclusive and sustainable, relying on genuine investment in local resources.”
Shehabi also highlighted that the meeting served as an opportunity to address several issues facing local municipalities. He pointed to Ain Kansra Municipality as a model of success in education, achieving a remarkable 100% success rate in baccalaureate exams.
Commenting on the recent appointment of the Wali of the Fez-Meknes region, Shehabi expressed optimism about potential positive changes in the coming period. He emphasized that the meeting demonstrated a genuine will to enact change and fulfill the aspirations of the region’s residents, calling for unified efforts and a sense of responsibility.
