The Ministry of Equipment and Water has announced the launch of the Rabat Al-Khair Dam project, also known as “Ahrmoumou,” in the Ansam area of Igzrane commune in Sefrou Province.
This strategic project is being overseen by the General Directorate of Water Engineering and the Water Equipment Directorate within the ministry. The civil engineering works have been assigned to the Moroccan Agricultural Works Company (Satam), while the “Expertise” study office will handle the project’s engineering consultation.
The Public Laboratory for Studies and Research is supervising the works, which are scheduled to take 60 months. The project includes civil engineering works along with hydromechanical and electromechanical equipment installations.
Upon completion, this dam is expected to enhance water resources in the region and improve water supplies for the local population and neighboring agricultural activities.
