On Monday, a female parliamentarian called for stricter oversight of private education institutions in Morocco, during an oral question session at the House of Representatives.
The parliamentarian strongly criticized the continuous rise in registration and insurance fees in private education institutions, considering that this constitutes a great financial burden on parents, and stressed the need for state intervention to regulate and control these fees in a way that takes into account the purchasing power of citizens.
