Forgery of Administrative Documents and Official Records in Oued Zem Triggers Judicial Police Investigation at Regional Police Station… Here Are the Seized Items

On Tuesday, March 18, the judicial police at the regional police station in Oued Zem successfully arrested a 47-year-old man, suspected of being involved in a case of forgery and its use.

According to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security, the arrest followed suspicions that the individual had forged administrative documents and official records. A search conducted at his residence led to the seizure of 33 forged administrative stamps, four photocopying and printing devices, mobile phones, and a UV light machine.

The search also uncovered three computers, a collection of forged documents and academic certificates, as well as five civil status registers lacking any personal data but bearing forged stamps and signatures. Additionally, a sum of 300,000 dirhams was found, suspected to be proceeds from this criminal activity.

The suspect is currently being held in police custody while the judicial investigation continues under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, to uncover all details of the case and apprehend any accomplices involved in these criminal acts.
