Liberia’s Foreign Minister praises the leadership of King Mohammed VI in Africa

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Liberia, Sarah Piso Nyanate, praised the leading role of His Majesty King Mohammed VI in the political, economic, security, and religious fields in Africa during her visit to Rabat on Thursday.

Initiative Acknowledgement
Ms. Nyanate, in a joint statement following her talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Morocco, Nasser Bourita, specifically highlighted His Majesty’s insightful initiative to facilitate the access of Sahel countries to the Atlantic Ocean. The aim is to make the African Atlantic space a practical geo-strategic framework for cooperation and consultation among African countries.

Opportunities Created
The Liberian diplomatic chief also praised the opportunity provided by this royal initiative, which aims to connect Sahel countries to transportation and communication networks for regional development.

Conflict Resolution Efforts
The ministers, as stated in the joint statement, reiterated their commitment to contributing to conflict resolution efforts in Africa. They commended the diligent efforts of the Kingdom of Morocco, under the wise and insightful leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, and the Republic of Liberia, under the leadership of His Excellency President George Weah, for the sake of peace and sustainable development in Africa.

Discussing regional and international issues of mutual interest, Minister Bourita and Minister Nyanate expressed satisfaction with the alignment of their views on various issues.
