King Mohammed VI Hosts Banquet in Honor of Belgian Prime Minister

Today, King Mohammed VI hosted a banquet in Rabat in honor of the Belgian Prime Minister, Mr. Alexander De Croo, and his accompanying delegation. The banquet was chaired by the Prime Minister, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch.

Attendees

Among the attendees were the Minister of Interior and Institutional Reforms, Ms. Annelies Verlinden, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs, Foreign Trade, and Federal Cultural Institutions, Ms. Hajja Lahbib, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, Mr. Paul Van Tigchelt, and the State Secretary for Asylum and Migration Affairs, Ms. Nicole De Moor.

Also present at the banquet were the President of the House of Representatives, Mr. Rachid Talbi Alami, the President of the Council of Advisors, Mr. Naam Miyara, and the advisors to King Mohammed VI, Mr. Taib Fassi Fihri and Omar Aziman. Additionally, the Minister of Interior, Mr. Abdelouafi Laftit, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Residing Abroad, Mr. Nasser Bourita, and the Minister of Justice, Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi, were in attendance.

Joint Committee Meeting

Today, Mr. Akhannouch and Mr. De Croo chaired the third meeting of the Joint High Committee for Morocco-Belgium Partnership. The meeting concluded with the adoption of a joint declaration, the signing of two memoranda of understanding, and a roadmap for cooperation.

Future Cooperation

In the joint declaration, both parties expressed their shared desire to deepen bilateral relations towards establishing a strategic partnership that meets the expectations and available opportunities in both
