Protecting Children’s Rights and Combating School Dropout

Highlighting the social and protective role of public prosecutors across the Kingdom, Balaoui revealed that concerted judicial and institutional intervention enabled the return of more than 29,000 students to classrooms under the national campaign against school dropout, while prosecutors systematically opposed thousands of underage marriage authorization requests to safeguard minors’ fundamental rights.

Rabat as the African Hub for Judicial Cooperation

Balaoui also underscored Morocco’s continental judicial leadership, noting that Rabat hosts the permanent headquarters of the Africa Prosecutors Association (APA) following Morocco’s election as its General Secretariat, alongside active membership in the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) and the Arab Public Prosecutors Association.
