Moulay Yacoub – Local actors in Moulay Yacoub Province called for accelerating the completion of the road leading to Douar Aounanat in the Commune of Sebaa Rouadi, stressing that the project represents a development demand for the residents and contributes to improving transportation conditions and reducing the isolation of the douar.
The local actors explained that a number of residents of the douar organized a protest to demand the acceleration of the project’s implementation, raising slogans calling for the road to be put into service as soon as possible, given its importance for the residents and its users.
The same sources added that the delay in completing the road, according to their statement, affects the daily movement of residents, especially during the winter season. It also affects students’ access to educational institutions and increases the difficulty of movement for patients and road users toward centers and essential services.
This development, according to the local actors, comes within the context of road projects that were previously approved by the Council of the Commune of Sebaa Rouadi, as part of programs aimed at improving infrastructure and reducing the isolation of a number of douars belonging to the commune.
The local actors called on all the concerned authorities to accelerate the pace of the project’s implementation and complete the works within the appropriate deadlines, in a way that contributes to strengthening road connectivity, improving the living conditions of the residents, and meeting expectations related to the development of infrastructure in rural areas.
