Rabat – Ces derniers jours, plusieurs médias ont fait état de la possible adhésion de Fouzi Lekjaa, ministre délégué chargé du Budget et président de la Fédération Royale Marocaine de Football (FRMF), au Parti Authenticité et Modernité (PAM), dans un contexte marqué par une intense activité politique à l’approche des élections législatives prévues le 23 septembre 2026.
Selon ces informations, la 32ᵉ session du Conseil national du parti, prévue le 25 juillet, pourrait servir de cadre à l’annonce officielle de cette adhésion. Toutefois, à ce jour, aucune confirmation officielle n’a été publiée ni par Fouzi Lekjaa ni par la direction du Parti Authenticité et Modernité.
Cette évolution intervient quelques semaines après que M. Lekjaa a démenti, dans des déclarations à la presse, les informations faisant état de son adhésion à un parti politique ou de son intention de se présenter aux prochaines élections législatives. Il avait alors affirmé qu’il n’appartenait à aucune formation politique et que toute décision en ce sens serait annoncée officiellement s’il venait à la prendre.
Si cette adhésion venait à être confirmée, elle constituerait l’un des principaux développements politiques à l’approche des élections législatives, compte tenu de la place qu’occupe Fouzi Lekjaa dans la gestion des dossiers financiers et sportifs au Maroc.
PAM Reportedly Secures Fouzi Lekjaa Ahead of Legislative Elections
Rabat – Media reports have recently suggested that Fouzi Lekjaa, Morocco’s Delegate Minister in charge of the Budget and President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), may soon join the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), amid growing political activity ahead of the parliamentary elections scheduled for September 23, 2026.
According to these reports, the party’s 32nd National Council meeting, scheduled for July 25, could provide the platform for announcing his membership. However, no official confirmation has yet been issued by either Fouzi Lekjaa or the leadership of the Authenticity and Modernity Party.
The reports come only weeks after Lekjaa publicly denied media claims linking him to any political party or suggesting that he intended to run in the upcoming parliamentary elections. At the time, he stated that he did not belong to any political organization and that any decision of this nature would be officially announced if he were to make one in the future.
Should this move be officially confirmed, it would represent one of the most significant political developments ahead of Morocco’s legislative elections, given Lekjaa’s prominent role in overseeing key national financial and sports-related portfolios.
