Meknes – In response to the royal supreme call, the city of Meknes is preparing to host and commemorate the largest religious and spiritual event on a global scale, marking 15 centuries since the birth of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.
This historic event is the first of its kind in Meknes and holds exceptional significance as an opportunity to honor the life and light of the best of creation, in an occasion that transcends time and place.
The event is scheduled to begin this evening, Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 8:00 PM, at the Cultural and Artistic Center of Meknes, in the hall formerly known as Cinema Rif. The invitation is open to the general public to participate in this grand spiritual and cultural gathering.
This celebration reflects the Kingdom of Morocco’s commitment, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, to strengthen religious and spiritual values and to promote bonds of love and tolerance among all segments of society in Meknes and the kingdom as a whole.
