During the High-Level Week of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, Mr. Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, held several bilateral meetings with his counterparts from various countries.
In his meeting with Mr. José Manuel Albares, Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, both sides praised the strong friendship that binds Morocco and Spain, emphasizing the countries’ commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation across various fields. They also reviewed several issues of mutual interest affecting both nations and the region.
In another meeting with Mr. Javier Martínez-Acha Vásquez, Panamanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, he renewed his country’s support for Morocco’s autonomy initiative as a solution to the Western Sahara dispute. He also expressed high appreciation for the distinguished bilateral relations between Morocco and Panama and affirmed the desire to continue enhancing joint cooperation in all areas.
These meetings are part of a series of discussions conducted by the Moroccan Foreign Minister in New York, reflecting Morocco’s keenness to enhance diplomatic communication and consolidate relations with its international partners in support of the country’s interests and priority issues on the international stage.
