In recent hours, the Moulay Idriss neighborhood in Wadi Fes district, city of Fes, witnessed an assault incident involving two sanitation workers affiliated with local cleaning services. The attack was carried out by two individuals, according to local sources.
The incident reportedly stemmed from a dispute between the parties after one of the sanitation workers warned the suspects for throwing trash in the middle of the public road, which angered them and escalated into a physical assault. The victim sustained blows to the head, shoulder, and hand.
This attack caused significant outrage among local residents, who expressed their solidarity with the sanitation workers, considering that such acts not only violate individuals’ rights but also undermine efforts to maintain the city’s cleanliness and beauty.
Authorities and security forces were promptly notified and have initiated an investigation to identify those responsible and take appropriate legal measures.
