Rabat – August 26, 2025
The General Secretariat of the National Democratic Party has issued a statement strongly condemning what it described as a “malicious” campaign led by certain foreign parties aimed at tarnishing the image of Morocco’s sovereign and security institutions.
The party affirmed that the article published by the French newspaper Le Monde is part of this campaign, which it says repeatedly targets Morocco through various means, including certain foreign media outlets.

The statement emphasized several key points, most notably:
- Staunch defense of the constants of the Moroccan nation and the symbols of the state, which serve as a formidable fortress against various challenges and dangers.
- A refusal to be swayed by malicious claims that undermine the country’s institutions and sovereignty.
- An affirmation that Morocco is proceeding with its development path under the wise leadership of King Mohammed VI.
The party also considered these media campaigns to be nothing more than desperate attempts to undermine Morocco’s stability and national unity, stressing that the Moroccan people remain committed to their developmental and reform path.
The statement concluded by emphasizing the National Democratic Party’s continued commitment to defending the nation’s constants and territorial integrity, under the high royal leadership.
