Morocco Weather: Relatively Warm Temperatures Expected This Sunday

Rabat: The Directorate General of Meteorology forecasts relatively warm weather to prevail in several regions of the Kingdom on Sunday, May 4, 2025.

According to the Directorate’s predictions, the interior plains, the Oriental region, the Southeast, and the interior of the southern provinces will experience relatively warm conditions throughout the day.

As for the sky conditions, the Tangier region, Loukkos, northern Gharb, and the Rif will see partly cloudy skies, with a chance of scattered showers or drizzle in some areas. The Atlantic plains north of Essaouira, the coasts between Agadir and Guelmim, and the High and Middle Atlas Mountains will also have partly cloudy skies.

Local fog is expected during the morning and night over the Atlantic plains and the Phosphate plateaus.

Regarding the wind, locally rather strong gusts are anticipated in the south of the Oriental region, the Southeast, and the southern coasts.

Concerning temperatures, they will rise in the extreme south of the country, in the Atlas Mountains and the Mediterranean coast, while a slight decrease is expected elsewhere.

As for sea conditions, the Mediterranean Sea will be slight to moderate, the Strait of Gibraltar slight to rough, the area between Cap Spartel and Tan-Tan rough, gradually becoming slight to rough in the afternoon, and slight to rough in the south.
