The General Directorate of National Security announced in a statement that police officers in the Moulay Rachid district of Casablanca successfully arrested an individual on Wednesday, March 19, suspected of obstructing traffic and endangering road users.
According to the statement, the suspect deliberately blocked the path of a public transport bus on one of the city’s streets, posing a threat to his own safety as well as that of passengers and other road users. These criminal actions were captured in a video circulated on social media, prompting an immediate police intervention, which led to his arrest in the act.
The same source indicated that the suspect has been placed under preventive custody as part of a judicial investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecution. The investigation aims to uncover all circumstances and details surrounding the case and determine the real motives behind these criminal acts.
