Upon the High Instructions of His Majesty the King, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Mohammed Berrid, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces and Commander of the Southern Zone, is undertaking a working visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from March 16 to 21.
During this visit, the Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces held a meeting with Lieutenant General Fayyad bin Hamad Al-Ruwaili, Chief of General Staff of the Saudi Armed Forces. They discussed various aspects of bilateral military cooperation under the wise leadership of the two countries’ leaders, according to a statement issued by the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.

On this occasion, the two officials expressed their satisfaction with the excellence of the friendship and cooperation relations between the Armed Forces of the Kingdoms of Saudi Arabia and Morocco, as well as the positive outcomes achieved through their fruitful bilateral cooperation.
Additionally, the Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces visited the headquarters of the Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition, where he was briefed on the missions and coordination and collaboration mechanisms among all its members in the fight against terrorism and extremism, aimed at enhancing security and stability in the region.
The visit of Lieutenant General Mohammed Berrid, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces and Commander of the Southern Zone, to Saudi Arabia, and his meeting with the Chief of General Staff of the Saudi Armed Forces, are part of efforts to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the Royal Armed Forces and their Saudi counterparts. This aims to enhance bilateral military cooperation and explore ways to deepen this cooperation to cover areas and issues of mutual interest, as stated in the communiqué.
