The International Football Federation (FIFA) has recently disclosed the proposed locations for hosting the draw of the 2030 World Cup as part of the joint bid from Morocco, Spain, and Portugal.
The report indicates that Morocco has suggested the Grand Theater in Rabat, situated along the banks of the Bouregreg River, to host the event. The theater spans an area of 25,000 square meters and accommodates 1,800 seats, meeting FIFA’s requirements for organizing the draw.
Spain has proposed the “WiZink” Center in the capital, Madrid, as an option for hosting the draw. This center features a space of 5,800 square meters and can hold over 17,000 people.
In Portugal, the “MEO” covered hall in Lisbon has been suggested, which is one of the largest multi-purpose venues in Europe. The hall, which previously hosted the Euro 2004 draw, covers an area of 5,200 square meters and can accommodate 20,000 spectators.
These proposals are part of the joint bid to organize the 2030 World Cup, where one of these three locations will be selected to host the draw ceremony.
