In a follow-up to the formation of a new majority in the Taza City Council, a formal session was held on Friday, November 15, 2024, to elect the council president. The session resulted in the official election of Mr. Munir Shentir, the head of the Independence Party’s list, as the new president of the municipal council.
This election is part of a broad political alliance involving several political parties, including the Independence Party, the National Rally of Independents, the Socialist Union of Popular Forces, the Justice and Development Party, the Renaissance Party, the Reform and Development Party, and the independent list (Al-Karama).
