Second National Festival of Music and Performing Arts in Taza to Celebrate Moroccan Identity

Under the slogan “Moroccan Sahara: From Management to Change,” the High Taza Theater will host the second edition of the National Festival of Music and Performing Arts on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.

This event is organized by the Ziryab Forum for Music and Arts in Taza, with the support of the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication, in collaboration with the Regional Directorate of Culture in Taza.

This distinguished artistic event coincides with the commemoration of the Green March anniversary, aiming to enhance Moroccan cultural and artistic identity and create a platform for artistic expression that brings together various musical styles and performances.

The festival will also honor the prominent artist Haj Nour Eddine Al-Amari, in recognition of his significant contributions to the Moroccan artistic scene.

The event will feature performances from a group of distinguished artists, including Mounsef Al-Amari, Pascal Alberola, Najib Mani, Yahya Al-Azouzi, Anwar Al-Harami, Naim Wasal, Reda Ghannam, and Abdel Salam Al-Safi.

Festivities will kick off at 7 PM, with artist Abdel Hak Bouamr hosting the ceremony, adding a unique artistic touch to the atmosphere of the event.

Organizers aim to attract a diverse audience of all ages, as the festival represents an opportunity to celebrate Moroccan arts and culture, strengthening national unity during a historical occasion that reflects the spirit of belonging.

Through this, the Festival of Music and Performing Arts underscores the importance of art in promoting the values of identity and culture, reflecting the city of Taza’s commitment to developing the artistic and cultural landscape in Morocco.
