In his address marking the opening of the new legislative year, King Mohammed VI emphasized the urgent need for comprehensive mobilization to confront the challenges and maneuvers targeting Morocco’s sovereignty over the Sahara.
The King asserted that Morocco has made significant gains in this issue; however, he highlighted that the upcoming phase demands heightened vigilance and coordination among all relevant institutions and bodies to strengthen the country’s position.
He underscored the importance of enhancing collaboration between various governmental and non-governmental entities, ensuring the effectiveness of Morocco’s political and diplomatic efforts.
Furthermore, King Mohammed VI stressed that countering maneuvers aimed at undermining Morocco’s sovereignty over its southern territories requires greater investment in diplomatic initiatives and the strengthening of strategic partnerships with friendly nations.
The King also noted that comprehensive mobilization must involve all segments of society, including youth and women, as raising awareness about the significance of territorial unity is an essential part of the struggle to complete Morocco’s sovereignty over its southern provinces.
