The Provincial Health and Social Protection Delegation of Sefrou, in collaboration with the National Midwives Association of Morocco and the Afaq Morocco Association, and under the supervision of the Regional Health Directorate, organized a campaign for early detection of breast and cervical cancer on Monday, October 7, 2024, at the multipurpose hall in the Sefrou commune.
The campaign targeted 150 women and included awareness sessions highlighting the importance of early detection in preventing these two cancers.
This initiative is part of the national campaign for early detection of breast and cervical cancer launched by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection under the slogan “Your Screening Now Ensures Safety and Stability, Don’t Hesitate.”
It targets women aged 40 to 69 for breast cancer and those aged 30 to 49 for cervical cancer.
