As part of efforts to enhance healthcare services and improve the quality of care provided to citizens, the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Professor Khalid Ait Taleb, will inaugurate a series of new healthcare facilities in the Fes-Meknes region on Friday, October 4, 2024.
This significant event will be attended by the Wali of the Fes-Meknes region, several elected officials, and representatives of civil society.
The new health projects aim to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and improve access to medical care.
Event Schedule The official ceremony will commence at 9 a.m. at the Hassan II University Hospital in Fes, where several key healthcare services will be launched, contributing to the improvement of the quality of services provided to citizens. This initiative aligns with the Ministry of Health and Social Protection’s efforts to expand capacity and enhance medical efficiency in the city.
The delegation will then proceed to the Sidi Harazem Rural Health Center, where new facilities will be inaugurated to offer better healthcare to rural populations, with a focus on improving both preventive and therapeutic services.
In the final leg of the tour, the delegation will visit the Snahja Rural Health Center in the province of Sefrou.
This health center, which is part of the Ministry of Health’s strategy to bring medical services closer to citizens in remote areas, will help improve access to essential healthcare and reduce the strain on larger hospitals.
Strengthening Healthcare Infrastructure These projects are part of a comprehensive strategy devised by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection to modernize the nation’s healthcare infrastructure and ensure the availability of quality medical services across various regions.
The strategy also includes improving the efficiency of healthcare professionals and providing modern medical equipment.
These initiatives are expected to build trust between citizens and healthcare institutions, enhance treatment and recovery conditions in the Fes-Meknes region, and represent a crucial step toward achieving national public health goals.
