As part of efforts to combat breast and cervical cancer and under the slogan of promoting public health, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection in Fes, in collaboration with local authorities and the African Organization for the Fight Against AIDS, organized a health caravan on Friday, September 20, 2024, at the Sahrij Knaoua Urban Health Center.
The campaign targeted 320 women, providing the following health services:
- 203 breast cancer screenings
- 180 cervical cancer screenings
- 19 cases referred for further treatment at specialized centers
- 52 HIV screenings
- 52 syphilis screenings
The campaign also included sessions to raise awareness about the importance of prevention and early detection.
This humanitarian initiative aims to foster solidarity and provide essential health services while emphasizing the significance of awareness in early disease detection.
