The Ministry of Transport and Logistics announced the launch of an integrated program aimed at renewing public transport vehicles and road transport sheds during fiscal years 2024, 2025, and 2026.
The program is part of the “Safe Bus” initiative, which aims to improve the quality and safety of mass public transport services via buses, in addition to supporting the road transport of goods and people in rural areas.
According to a statement issued by the National Road Safety Agency, the two programs will be launched starting in 2024 through a dedicated online platform called “tajdid-hadira.narsa.gov.ma”, through two main phases.
Registration for businesses wishing to benefit from the programs will begin in the first phase on July 22, where registration will be open to applicants who do not have an active account on the platform, while the second phase will start on July 29, where applications will be received through the same platform.
The agency intends to cancel all applications submitted before July 29 that have not yet been approved, and requires interested applicants to resubmit their applications through the online platform.
