In a successful operation, members of the Provincial Judicial Police Department in Kenitra arrested a person suspected of being involved in the trafficking of narcotics and psychotropic substances, based on accurate information provided by the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (GDTS).
According to a statement by the DGSN, the suspect was searched at the performance station of the highway, after arriving in a car coming from a city in the north of the Kingdom, where he was found in possession of 7460 narcotic pills.
The suspect was the subject of a nationwide search warrant issued by the Tiflet judicial police, due to his suspected involvement in previous cases related to the trafficking of hallucinogenic substances.
The suspect was remanded to the competent public prosecution to complete the investigations and identify other parties involved in these criminal activities.
