The Government Council, chaired by Aziz Akhannouch, met yesterday, Thursday, June 6, 2024, to study a number of important files.
The main points discussed:
Preparing for Eid al-Adha: Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forestry, Mohamed Seddiqi, confirmed the availability of Eid al-Adha sacrificial animals at suitable prices for citizens, following a careful assessment of the supply forecast, which far exceeds the demand. All measures have been taken to ensure the health of the national herd.
Postponement of the bill regulating the display of fishery products: Draft law 35.23, which regulates the display of fishery products for the first time on the market, has been postponed to a later government meeting to further study it.
Approval of a draft decree organizing the Ministry of Justice: Draft Decree No. 2.24.371 aims to ensure the continuity of the training system for clerks and other employees of the Ministry of Justice, as well as members of the legal and judicial professions, in order to raise their level of competence and develop their capacities.
Approval of a draft decree defining the procedure for removing plots of land from public waterways: Draft Decree No. 2.23.400 aims to define the procedure for the removal from the public domain of a piece or pieces of land that have lost their public utility status, as well as the annexation of the latter to the public domain.
The Cabinet meeting dealt with several important files, which aim to ensure the smooth functioning of public facilities, provide citizens’ basic needs, and promote continuous training in various fields.
