Rabat, Morocco – May 21, 2024 – Mr. Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Abroad, today received Mr. Christian Buck, Special Envoy of the Federal German Foreign Office to Libya, in Rabat.
The meeting, which falls within the framework of the multidimensional strategic dialogue between Morocco and Germany, discussed the latest developments in Libya and the efforts being made to find a political solution to the Libyan crisis.
The two sides stressed the importance of comprehensive dialogue and national reconciliation between all Libyan parties as the only way to achieve stability and peace in the country.
They also emphasized the importance of the role that Morocco and Germany can play in supporting international efforts to resolve the Libyan crisis.
This meeting comes as part of strengthening the distinguished relations between Morocco and Germany and enhancing cooperation between the two countries in various fields, including political, security, and economic fields.
