A horrific crime has shaken the Boureg Moulay Omar neighborhood in Meknes, leaving a young fruit vendor dead at the hands of his neighbor following a personal dispute.
According to well-informed sources, the incident unfolded when the vendor was stabbed to death by his neighbor on one of the neighborhood’s streets. Security cameras in the area captured the shocking details of the crime, showing the assailant attacking the victim with a white weapon before fleeing the scene.
Upon receiving notification of the crime, judicial police officers from the Meknes Security Police rushed to the scene and apprehended the suspect, who attempted to resist arrest. Our sources indicate that an investigation is currently underway to uncover the circumstances of the crime and determine the motive. The victim’s body has also undergone an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
The victim, known for his good character, had previously had a disagreement with the assailant, which culminated in yesterday’s tragedy that has shaken the Boureg Moulay Omar neighborhood and instilled fear and panic among its residents.
