Maroc – La Fédération Royale Marocaine de Football (FRMF) a salué la décision de la commission d’appel de la Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF), estimant qu’elle s’inscrit dans le respect des règlements et contribue à renforcer la stabilité des compétitions continentales, dans le contexte de la controverse ayant entouré la finale de la CAN 2025.
Morocco – The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) welcomed the decision of the Appeals Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), considering it aligned with regulatory compliance and contributed to strengthening the stability of continental competitions, amid the controversy surrounding the AFCON 2025 final.

Dans un communiqué officiel, la FRMF a indiqué qu’elle avait défendu منذ le début des événements liés à la finale l’application stricte des règlements, précisant que sa position visait non pas à contester la performance sportive, mais à garantir le respect des règles organisationnelles en vigueur.
In an official statement, the FRMF stated that it had defended from the outset the strict application of regulations, clarifying that its position was not intended to challenge sporting performance but to ensure compliance with established rules.

La fédération a ajouté que la décision de la commission d’appel reflète, selon elle, un non-respect des règles lors de la phase initiale, ce qui l’a conduite à recourir aux voies d’appel conformément aux procédures légales.
The federation added that the Appeals Committee’s decision reflects what it described as non-compliance with rules at the initial stage, which led it to pursue the appeal process in accordance with legal procedures.

Elle a également souligné avoir respecté l’ensemble des procédures légales, en soumettant ses mémoires et en participant aux auditions, afin de défendre sa position et garantir le bon déroulement des compétitions.
It also stressed that it complied with all legal procedures by submitting its documents and participating in hearings to defend its position and ensure the proper conduct of competitions.

La FRMF considère que cette décision permettra de clarifier le cadre juridique pour des situations similaires à l’avenir et de renforcer la crédibilité du football africain.

Dans le même contexte, la fédération a réaffirmé sa détermination à défendre une application “stricte et équitable” des règlements devant les instances compétentes, tout en se tournant vers les prochaines échéances, notamment la Coupe du monde et la CAN féminine prévue durant l’été.
