Maroc – Le Conseil de gouvernement s’est réuni ce jeudi 5 mars 2026 sous la présidence du chef du gouvernement Aziz Akhannouch. La réunion a été consacrée à l’examen et à l’adoption de plusieurs projets de textes juridiques, à la présentation d’un accord international, ainsi qu’à l’étude de propositions de nomination à de hautes fonctions conformément aux dispositions de l’article 92 de la Constitution of Morocco.
Morocco – The Government Council met on Thursday, March 5, 2026, chaired by Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch. The meeting focused on examining and approving several draft legal texts, reviewing an international agreement, and discussing proposals for appointments to senior positions in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution of Morocco.

Au début de la réunion, le Conseil a adopté un projet de décret modifiant le décret relatif à la création des zones franches d’exportation dans la zone spéciale de développement Tangier-Med, afin de l’adapter aux besoins des investisseurs et de renforcer la position du Maroc dans les échanges maritimes internationaux.
At the start of the meeting, the Council approved a draft decree amending the decree concerning the establishment of export free zones in the special development zone of Tangier-Med, aiming to align it with investors’ needs and strengthen Morocco’s position in global maritime trade.

Le Conseil a également adopté un projet de décret fixant la date de l’élection des membres de la Chambre des représentants. Les élections législatives auront lieu le mercredi 23 septembre 2026. La campagne électorale débutera à partir de la première heure du jeudi 10 septembre 2026 et prendra fin à minuit le mardi 22 septembre 2026.
The Council also approved a draft decree setting the date for the election of members of the House of Representatives. Legislative elections will take place on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. The electoral campaign will begin at the first hour of Thursday, September 10, 2026, and will end at midnight on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.

Selon un communiqué reçu par Fès News, le Conseil a également examiné un projet de décret visant à simplifier et à numériser les procédures d’obtention, de renouvellement ou de modification des autorisations d’ouverture et d’exploitation des crèches privées, dans le cadre de la mise en œuvre de la loi relative à la simplification des procédures administratives.
According to a statement received by Fes News, the Council also reviewed a draft decree aimed at simplifying and digitizing procedures for obtaining, renewing, or modifying licenses for opening and operating private daycare centers, as part of implementing the law on simplifying administrative procedures.

Dans le secteur des télécommunications, le Conseil a approuvé un projet de décret renouvelant pour cinq années supplémentaires l’autorisation accordée à une entreprise spécialisée pour l’établissement et l’exploitation d’un réseau public de télécommunications par satellite de type VSAT, à partir du 15 février 2026, après approbation de l’National Telecommunications Regulatory Agency.
In the telecommunications sector, the Council approved a draft decree renewing for five additional years the license granted to a specialized company to establish and operate a public satellite telecommunications network of the VSAT type, starting February 15, 2026, following approval by the National Telecommunications Regulatory Agency.

Le Conseil a également pris connaissance d’un accord d’assistance juridique et judiciaire mutuelle en matière pénale entre le Morocco et la Jordan, signé dans la capitale jordanienne Amman le 5 octobre 2025, ainsi que du projet de loi visant à approuver cet accord.
The Council also reviewed a mutual legal and judicial assistance agreement in criminal matters between Morocco and Jordan, signed in Amman on October 5, 2025, along with the draft law approving the agreement.

La réunion s’est conclue par l’approbation de plusieurs nominations à des postes supérieurs. Ont ainsi été nommés :
Samir El Makri directeur des affaires administratives, juridiques et générales au Ministry of Transport and Logistics of Morocco ;
Youssef Akhlou directeur des ressources humaines, du budget et des affaires générales au Ministry of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family of Morocco ;
Ahmed Ibn El Khadim inspecteur général au Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development of Morocco – secteur du développement durable.
The meeting concluded with the approval of several senior appointments:
Samir El Makri as Director of Administrative, Legal and General Affairs at the Ministry of Transport and Logistics of Morocco;
Youssef Akhlou as Director of Human Resources, Budget and General Affairs at the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family of Morocco;
Ahmed Ibn El Khadim as Inspector General at the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development of Morocco – Sustainable Development sector.
