Le 20 janvier 2026 à Rabat, l’Association des Ordres des Avocats au Maroc a publié un communiqué de clarification appelant à la rigueur et à la responsabilité professionnelle dans le traitement des informations et données circulant au sujet de l’association ou de ses positions. Elle a souligné qu’aucune information ou prise de position ne saurait être retenue si elle n’émane pas officiellement des canaux institutionnels habilités.
The statement explained that the association has observed the circulation of rumors and unfounded information through posts or unofficial platforms, which are presented to the professional community in a manner suggesting—intentionally or unintentionally—that they represent the association’s positions. This undermines the clarity of serious and responsible debate within the profession.
Le communiqué précise que l’association a constaté la diffusion de rumeurs et d’informations infondées à travers des publications ou des canaux non officiels, présentées à l’opinion professionnelle comme étant, volontairement ou non, des positions émanant de l’association, ce qui porte atteinte à la clarté du débat sérieux et responsable au sein du corps professionnel.
According to the statement, the president of the association emphasized that information circulated outside the institutional framework is likely to create confusion and misinformation, contributing to the disorientation of professional opinion and diverting attention away from the real issues at stake, particularly at a delicate and sensitive stage requiring the highest levels of discipline and responsibility.
Selon le communiqué, le président de l’association a affirmé que les informations relayées en dehors du cadre institutionnel sont de nature à semer la confusion et à troubler l’opinion professionnelle, en la détournant des véritables enjeux, notamment dans une phase délicate et sensible exigeant le plus haut niveau de discipline et de responsabilité.
The association stressed the need for accuracy and objectivity, and for refraining from reposting or promoting unverified information. It urged professionals to rely exclusively on official sources and to avoid being influenced by posts or opinions lacking credibility.
L’association a insisté sur la nécessité de faire preuve de rigueur et d’objectivité, et de s’abstenir de relayer ou de diffuser des informations non vérifiées, appelant à s’informer exclusivement auprès des sources officielles et à ne pas se laisser entraîner par des publications ou opinions dépourvues de crédibilité.
In conclusion, the association renewed its commitment to clear and responsible communication, calling on all colleagues to unify the professional ranks and to demonstrate collective cohesion and vigilance in line with the current circumstances, in a manner that serves the higher interests of the profession and strengthens joint institutional action in facing various challenges.
