An authorized source at the Ministry of Interior, in a statement exclusively to “Fes News” newspaper, categorically denied all rumors that accompanied the news of the termination of duties of Mr. Mustapha Chabli, Head of the Internal Affairs Department (DAI) at the Fes-Meknes Regional Prefecture, which attempted to link the decision to a “punitive dismissal” or the existence of “irregularities.”
The same source confirmed that the decision to transfer Mr. Chabli to the Ministry’s central services is a routine and ordinary administrative procedure, falling within the framework of the transitional movement and human resources rotation undertaken by the Ministry, and has no connection to any professional error or failure to perform duty.
The source emphasized that Mr. Mustapha Chabli is considered among the best cadres of the Ministry of Interior, and is recognized for his high professional competence and discipline throughout his distinguished and continuous professional career. The man has previously held significant responsibilities, having skillfully and competently managed the Internal Affairs Department in important provinces such as Agadir Ida-Outanane and Meknes before joining Fes, which reflects the great trust the central administration places in him.
This clarification comes to put an end to hasty media interpretations that attempted to damage the reputation of a territorial official who has accumulated important field experience, and to confirm that changes in positions of responsibility are a natural administrative practice to inject new blood and are not necessarily a sword of punishment.
It is worth noting that Mr. Karim Amnachar has been appointed as successor to Mr. Chabli at the head of the Internal Affairs Department in Fes, coming from the Marrakech province.
