A New Diplomatic Victory for Morocco: “Polisario” Expelled from the Arab-African Youth Council

Kampala – Morocco achieved a significant diplomatic success as 47 Arab and African countries unanimously voted to expel the so-called “Polisario Front” from the General Council of the Arab-African Youth Council during its meeting held in the Ugandan capital, Kampala.

This decision marks a crucial shift in the regional stance toward this unrecognized entity and reflects growing Arab and African support for Morocco’s territorial integrity, contrasted with the increasing isolation of the Polisario Front within regional and international institutions.

Sources inside the meeting confirmed that the decision resulted from broad consensus among member states on the need to respect legitimacy and internationally recognized institutions, rejecting the involvement of unrecognized entities in joint youth activities.

This position underscores that Morocco does not need to raise its voice to defend its national cause, as facts on the ground and growing international support sufficiently affirm the justice of its cause and the credibility of its approach in defending its territorial unity.

This decision adds to the series of diplomatic achievements accumulated by Morocco across Africa and the Arab world, reinforcing its status as a trusted strategic partner in building an integrated and stable Arab-African space.
