“Fez News” has learned from informed sources that Mr. Khalid Zerwali, who has been entrusted with the interim management of the Fez-Meknes regional wilaya, has effectively and immediately commenced his duties since the administrative decision was issued 48 hours ago.
The same sources reported that over the past two days, Mr. Zerwali has held a series of intensive and continuous meetings at the wilaya headquarters. These gatherings included senior officials, heads of departments and external services, as well as security officials, aiming to review the progress of administrative and security work in the region and closely examine major files and ongoing projects.
These field activities come as part of ensuring the continuity of the regional territorial administration and emphasize a practical approach designed to avoid any vacuum in the management of local public affairs. These meetings are expected to continue in the coming days, involving various regional stakeholders, while awaiting the official announcement of the final appointment by the Ministry of the Interior.
