Casablanca: Night Watchman Arrested on Suspicion of Kidnapping a Two-Year-Old Girl

Casablanca, Morocco – Police services in the Casablanca security prefecture, in field coordination with the Souk Sebt Oulad Nemma police station, have arrested a 38-year-old night watchman. He is suspected of involvement in the kidnapping of a two-year-old minor girl.

According to preliminary investigation information, the minor was reported missing in Casablanca under suspicious circumstances. Investigations led to the night watchman, who had prior knowledge of the victim’s family.

Field coordination between security services resulted in the suspect’s apprehension in the town of Souk Sebt Oulad Nemma, where he was with the minor girl and intended to transport her to his hometown in a rural area.

The suspect has been placed in police custody as part of a judicial investigation conducted by the Prefectural Judicial Police in Casablanca, under the supervision of the King’s Public Prosecutor at the Court of Appeal. The investigation aims to uncover the true motives behind the crime and determine all its circumstances and details.
