Washington Post Reveals: Trump Administration Considers Plan to Evacuate Gaza and Transform It into the “Middle East Riviera”

Rabat, Morocco – A recent report by the Washington Post has revealed that the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump is considering an ambitious and unprecedented plan aimed at radically changing the future of the Gaza Strip after the war. The plan, which has sparked widespread controversy, involves the United States taking control of the territory and relocating its population of over two million people, both inside and outside the Strip.

Details of the “GREAT Fund” and Trump’s Vision for Gaza

According to the newspaper, which reviewed a 38-page document detailing the plan, the proposal calls for placing Gaza under U.S. trusteeship for a period of at least ten years. The project, named the “Gaza Reconstruction, Economic Acceleration, and Transformation Fund” (GREAT Fund), aims to transform the devastated territory into a tourist resort and an advanced technology hub, in line with Trump’s stated vision of turning Gaza into the “Middle East Riviera.”

The plan calls for a temporary evacuation of all Gaza residents, either through “voluntary departure” to other countries or by moving them to secure, designated areas within the Strip during the reconstruction period.

Digital Vouchers and Smart Cities

It is proposed that the fund would grant Gazans who own land digital vouchers that they could use to start a new life elsewhere or to acquire apartments in “new AI-powered smart cities” that would be built in Gaza. This step is part of the fund’s efforts to completely restructure the territory.

The newspaper noted that this proposal was drafted by Israelis who established the “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation,” a controversial entity that relief organizations and the United Nations refuse to work with.

Official Reactions and International Positions

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has praised the proposal, while it has been met with sharp criticism from many European and Arab countries. Although the White House has not issued an official statement on the matter, Donald Trump surprised the world earlier this year with his suggestion to take control of Gaza and relocate its residents, which provoked widespread indignation.

These leaks confirm that the future of Gaza remains at the center of international discussions and speculation, with radical solutions being proposed that spark significant debate about the fate of the Strip’s inhabitants.
