Nairobi, Kenya – The Moroccan national football team for local-based players has been crowned champions of the African Nations Championship after a thrilling 3-2 victory over Madagascar in the final match. The game was held at the Moi International Sports Centre in Nairobi, Kenya.
The match saw fierce competition between the two teams, with Morocco securing the win thanks to the brilliant performance of its players. Goals for the national team were scored by Youssef Mehri in the 27th minute, and a brace from Oussama Lamlioui in the 44th and 80th minutes.
For the Malagasy team, the goals were scored by Felicity Mantasoa in the 9th minute and Toky Tokondraibe in the 68th minute.
This victory marks a new achievement for Moroccan football, solidifying its prestigious position on the continental stage.
