Ifrane, Morocco – On August 23, 2025, the third and final phase of the Grand Traveling Market was launched in the city of Ifrane. The market is organized in partnership with the Fez-Meknes Regional Council, the regional prefecture, the Ifrane provincial government, and the Secretariat of State for Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy. This phase is scheduled to continue until August 30th.
A New Generation of Local Products
This final stage saw the participation of 73 cooperatives, with a total of 140 exhibitors, from various provinces of the Fez-Meknes region and other parts of the country. This phase showcases a “new generation” of local and artisanal products that highlight the region’s natural wealth and the growing skill in traditional crafts.
Ms. Khadija Hajjoubi, the Vice President of the Regional Council, oversaw the official launch of this phase, emphasizing its role in supporting the social and solidarity economy.
Training Workshops and Entertainment Activities
This last phase of the market will include a series of training workshops held at the “Youth Platform” in Ifrane. These sessions will be supervised by experts specializing in the scientific and professional support of cooperatives. Additionally, new entertainment programs will be launched to enrich the visitor experience.
