National Security Boosts Social Infrastructure with New Sports Hall in Al Hoceima

Al Hoceima, Morocco – As part of the General Directorate for National Security’s (DGSN) strategy to enhance social and sports services for its personnel, a multi-purpose sports hall was inaugurated today, Wednesday, in the city of Al Hoceima. This achievement strengthens the range of services offered by the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works of National Security Personnel and underscores the directorate’s commitment to its human capital.

Integrated Infrastructure for Security Personnel

The new sports hall, opened at the regional security headquarters in Al Hoceima, is fully equipped to meet the latest standards. It includes modern fitness equipment, dedicated spaces for martial arts training, and advanced sanitary facilities and changing rooms. The goal is to provide a comprehensive environment that caters to all the needs of police officers.

A Strategic Partnership for Social Development

The inauguration of this hall is the result of an effective partnership between the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works of National Security Personnel and the Agency for the Promotion and Development of the Northern Provinces (APDN). This agreement, signed last April, aims to boost coordination and cooperation in implementing social and sports projects for the benefit of both male and female police officers.

In this regard, General Supervisor Tawfik Stairy, director of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works, confirmed that the sports hall meets all adopted quality standards and represents a significant addition to the social services provided by the National Security to its members.

Stairy added that this initiative reflects the high royal directives and the instructions from the Director-General of National Security and the Director-General of Territorial Surveillance, which place human resources at the core of their priorities. This step is an expression of appreciation for the tremendous efforts made by all categories of National Security personnel in serving the nation and its citizens.
