A Great Success: The Grand Mobile Market in Ifrane Concludes its Second Phase

Ifrane, Morocco – The Grand Mobile Market, organized by the Fez-Meknes Regional Council in partnership with the Secretariat of State for Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy and a number of local authorities, concluded the events of its second phase on August 22, 2025. This phase, which lasted for eight days in the city of Ifrane, witnessed great success and a remarkable economic and cultural dynamism.

The market served as an ideal platform to attract visitors and tourists who flocked to the city during this period. It showcased handcrafted and local products that reflect the region’s natural and environmental diversity and the depth of its authentic artisanal heritage.

The second phase recorded a large public turnout for the displayed products, achieving record sales, as confirmed by the surveys filled out by the participants. The market also hosted extensive visits from children of summer camps from neighboring areas of Ifrane, such as Ras El Ma, Kherrouza, Immouzer, and Ben Smim.

On the final day, Ms. Khadija Hajoubi, Vice President of the Regional Council in charge of promoting the Social and Solidarity Economy, along with council staff, supervised the distribution of participation certificates to the artisans and collaborators. This recognition comes as an acknowledgment of their positive participation, their commitment to good display standards, and their active involvement in the success of this phase of the market.
