In the past few hours, a fabricated news item has been circulating on some pages and groups, falsely claiming that the Sheikh of the Qadiriyya Al-Budshishiyya Tariqa, Sidi Munir Al-Qadri Al-Budshishi, has abdicated the leadership in favor of his younger brother.
We affirm to the [public], to all members and followers, and even to those who seek to undermine the Tariqa, that this news is false and baseless. It is merely a slanderous and malicious act driven by parties aiming to sow discord, division, and weaken the Qadiriyya Al-Budshishiyya Tariqa.
Our esteemed Sheikh, Sidi Munir Al-Qadri Al-Budshishi, remains at the head of the leadership, steadfast in his approach, firmly holding onto his spiritual mission in service of religion and the nation, under the [Emirate of the Faithful], the Protector of the Faith and Religion, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God grant him victory and support.
We call on everyone to verify credibility, not to be swept up by rumors, and to know that the Qadiriyya Al-Budshishiyya Tariqa has always been and will remain united in word, pure in method, and firm on the clear path.
