RABAT – The US Embassy in Rabat announced its participation in the inauguration ceremony of the Ahl Al-Gharam Industrial Zone in Casablanca, reaffirming the United States’ enduring commitment to advancing shared economic prosperity between the two nations.
During the event, US Deputy Consul General in Casablanca, Ilona Strom, emphasized America’s steadfast support for Morocco’s development initiatives. She highlighted that the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) has invested $7 million in the Ahl Al-Gharam Industrial Zone.
The Embassy clarified in its statement that this investment aims to foster market-driven economic growth through effective partnership with Morocco’s private sector. This initiative is expected to create sustainable employment opportunities and enhance the competitiveness of local enterprises.
This support aligns with the strategic cooperation between the United States and Morocco, which prioritizes development projects with positive economic and social impacts.
