The National Council of the Educational Administrators’ Union Affirms Demands for Serious Dialogue and Prepares for Escalating Protest Steps with the Start of the New School Year

In a national meeting held on Sunday, July 27, 2025, in Kenitra, under the theme “The Late Hassan El Khout Session,” the National Council of the Educational Administrators’ Union reaffirmed its rejection of policies leading to marginalization and ignoring the category’s demands. The council called for an urgent and serious dialogue to address their rights and announced plans for escalated protest actions as the new academic year approaches.

According to the statement issued by the National Council, the working and social conditions of educational administrators continue to deteriorate, especially amid the rollback of previous gains and the imposition of additional burdens without appropriate compensation. The statement stressed the need for the Ministry to respond to their demands through genuine dialogue.

The statement also highlighted humanitarian issues and concerns regarding staff affairs, describing the policy of marginalization and restriction as destabilizing to their rights by further deducting salaries and burdening employees with the costs of reform funds, without considering their financial capacity. The union also rejected compulsory retirement, which negatively affects young people seeking job opportunities.

The statement warned of the union’s upcoming protest steps, noting that rejection of the revised strike law, deterioration of union freedoms, and constitutional rights will be key issues of confrontation, especially with continued attacks on union freedoms.

On the organizational level, the council confirmed the expansion of the union’s base and the tightening of cooperation among all administrators at the regional and national levels, calling on all categories to intensify mobilization for an escalating protest program until their just and legitimate demands are achieved.

The statement concluded by saluting ongoing activism and calling for unity and solidarity around the National Union of Educational Administrators, confirming that further struggle is ahead to achieve their demands.
